Day 2 of Moksha’14 witnessed a huge crowd, thronging to experience the grandeur of the fest.
The day started with the Theatre Fiesta, Parwaaz, that mesmerized the audience by the ebulliently directed plays. The judges, too, had a tough time choosing the best performance.
Next in line were Dramebaaz and sponti dance. Both the events were applauded by the audience. While Dramebaaz was high on expression and drama quotient and saw a bunch of talented actors, the participants of sponti dance escalated the heat with their ‘latkas and jhatkas’. Pulkit was declared the best dancer.
These two events gave way to some jaw dropping performances during the Street Dance. The popularity of this event was quite evident from the fact that the admin was jam packed and the students were seen standing on chairs and tables to catch a glimpse of some breath-taking moves. The captivating performance by Hoola Breakers enticed the audience.
Despite the numerous mega events scheduled for the day, the smaller events also managed to draw the crowd’s attention. The various fun activities organized by bru, eat-o-mania, tug of war and soda pong were an instant hit with the folks. The IPL auction too, saw a number of bidders.
The final round of Rogue saw the models displaying magnificent colors. The teams from NIFT and Institute of Home Economics were commendable and the winners took away vouchers worth ₹1 lakh. However, the intermittent glitches in music system for Rogue and Street Dance provided a damper to the frolic.
The day ended with Avalanche- the Metal and Rock Show and The Viral Fever. Avalanche started on a soothing note, with the performance of the fusion band, Spice route, that soon gave way to one of India’s best metal band, Undying Inc. At the same time, The Viral Fever’s medley of performances was a complete laugh riot and thus, ended the second day of Moksha’14 on a happy note.
