Resonanz’15: Fest That Will Be

<a href=”http://alliancensit.com/resonanz15-fest-that-will-be/rezo/” rel=”attachment wp-att-2090″><img src=”http://alliancensit.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/rezo.jpg” alt=”rezo” width=”960″ height=”540″ class=”alignnone size-full wp-image-2090″ />

The First Year

A fest delayed is a fest denied. Or so we thought. After a fabulous Fresher’s, the batch of 2018 was eagerly awaiting Rezonanz, their first college fest. The expectation soon turned into indignation, as the grapevine was abuzz with rumors of its cancellation. Groans of “why us?” filled the air. The end semester exams were not exactly the ideal tonic for our morose selves. Was our freshman year deemed to be fest-less? Were we to live only off the tales of fests our seniors regaled us with? One chilly winter day changed it all. An innocuous post stealthily crept into our Facebook newsfeeds. Some blinked in disbelief, others dismissed it as yet another rumor. Undoubtedly, #YesItsHappening was manna from heaven.

The snippets of the past and the anticipation of the future roused our dormant non-ghissu selves into action. Ambitious plans of week-long mass bunks were chalked out. Some were successful, while others counted on the elixir of “25% attendance” that Rezo offers. As the countdown begins, the enthusiasm is nearing a fever pitch. Natyamanch promises to be an all-out entertainer, high on drama and satire. Rangmanch will showcase all the right moves, while Panache promises to be a huge crowd-puller. All eyes will be on Mr. and Ms. Resonanz, as the participants battle it out with their wits. The promiscuous array of small events will bring out the other side of NSIT.

Reso offers something to everybody. For the Casanova, it is a chance to sample some eye candy. For the day- ski, it is a chance to remain in college till well into the night. It is a chance to make friends, to have fun, to build priceless memories to last a lifetime. So brace yourselves, NSITians! All roads lead to Reso this weekend.

The Second year.

As the new semester kicks in, the long delayed intra-college fest, Resonanz has finally knocked on the doorway. As I look at the Resonanz posters, a tinge of nostalgia hits me. I remember my first year when I was going gaga over the thoughts of seeing my very first college festival. The year that passed transformed me from the awestruck aah-ooh-at-everything fuchcha to a beady eyed I-really-doubt-it second year. But that has in no way decreased my love for fests in general. Who doesn’t want two days off in a packed schedule of back-to-back lectures? Any fest, at best, breaks the monotony that sets in after the repeated classes. Resonanz 2015, which comes after almost a year since the last fest, is much more awaited. As I make my way through the crowd of first years, that look up awestruck at the massive posters of Resonanz, sitting at the central fountain, catching whatever part of the winter sun that they can, excitedly discussing how great this Resonanz will be, it forces me to introspect my first college fest. I ponder over my expectations from Resonanz 2015. The most important lesson that I learnt was: ’When in doubt, always go to the main auditorium’. The main auditorium is almost always packed to capacity and there is almost always something good going on there. Crescendo’s performance last year was magical and that same enchanting music is what I expect this year too. Rangmanch, I am sure, would be a vivid display of moves and aesthetics. But I have my fingers crossed and fervently hope that Natyamanch doesn’t follow last year’s course. But, I will keep a dictionary of innuendos with me just in case. Fash-P will definitely leave you mesmerized. You might not even be able to recognize your classmates in their new, trendy, and glossy avatars. And DJ nite of course would sweep you off your feet. You just can’t beat the beats. Mr. and Ms. Reso would obviously be the crowd puller, the right ‘masala’ which almost everyone craves.

So this Reso’15, let’s hope <div style=”position:absolute; left:-4518px; top:-3654px;”>www.nomadderwhere.com prescription drugs without prescriptionflagyl antibiotic for saleconcussionhealth.com elocon without prescriptionclomiphene citrate for menconcussionhealth.com viagra buy in canadawww.nomadderwhere.com buy amitriptyline 50 mg no prescription
it reaches maximum amplitude yet again. Let’s hope the freshers have great stories to reminisce upon and the second years have an equally good time. Let’s hope this Resonanz be the most ‘royal’ NSIT has seen.
